赵玉园,男,1965年生,博士,教授,1985年、1988年毕业于大连理工大学金属材料专业,分别获学士与硕士学位,1995年毕业于英国牛津大学材料专业,获博士学位。1995-1998年英国伯明翰大学博士后,1998-2022年英国利物浦大学历任讲师、教授、系主任。英国材料学会会士,英国皇家特许工程师,英国材料学会艾弗-詹金斯(Ivor Jenkins)国际奖章获得者。入选国家级海外高层次人才。

主要从事多孔金属、复合泡沫及金属粉末等材料的制备、结构、性能和应用方面的研究。在国内外学术刊物上发表学术论文100余篇,其中SCI索引80篇,授权欧盟发明专利1项、美国发明专利2项、中国发明专利1项,培养博士生18名,硕士生60余名。
